About Us

My journey with Jona's Handcrafted Dreamcatchers is a testament to the transformative power of turning pain into purpose. What began as a personal quest to navigate the depths of grief following my father's passing has evolved into a radiant expression of creativity and resilience. With each delicate weave and intricate design, I've found solace, clarity, and a profound sense of connection to my roots.

From those early days of crafting dreamcatchers as a means of coping, to the moment T & T Dreamcatchers was born, the journey has been nothing short of extraordinary. The transition from a simple hobby to a thriving family business has been fueled by a relentless pursuit of passion and a deep-seated belief in the wisdom my father told me.

Throughout this journey, there have been some unique challenges but with the unwavering support of my loved ones, friends, and community we pushed forward. Their support has lifted me, giving me the strength to overcome obstacles. And now, as we stand on the brink of celebrating our 9th anniversary, I'm filled with an overwhelming sense of gratitude for how far we've come.

Being nominated for an award (See awards info below) serves as a poignant reminder of the impact our work has had on others. It's a validation of the love, dedication, and craftsmanship that we pour into every dreamcatcher. And as we look to the future with hopeful anticipation, I'm reminded of the profound truth my father instilled in me—that when you find a passion that sets your soul on fire, work becomes a labor of love, and every day feels like a gift.

So, as T & T Dreamcatchers, we will continue to go forward  With each dreamcatcher we create, we're not just crafting art; we're weaving dreams, spreading love, and touching hearts. Here's to the next chapter of our journey—to many more years of growth, success, and boundless creativity. And to all who have crossed our path and supported us along the way, thank you. We couldn't have done it without you.

Jona Sparvier

Founder, Creator, Wife, Mother & Student

When I began making Indigenous crafts it was not yet realized where it would take me or how much it had contributed to saving me. I started making dreamcatchers as a hobby. It served as an outlet for what I had been dealing with internally.
The formation of the web had given me a sense of calm and direction in what was so broken in my own thoughts and heart. With each one I would give to friends and family as gifts. With each passing year and after creating many dreamcatchers this once a hobby is now my passion and devotion I love everything about what we do, and will continue to create as long as I can.
